   Reason: The brittle plasic mechanisms are not replacable.
   

Common Problems with Bose Wave Radios

1. The radio won't read the CD.
   Common solution: Rebuild the control board.
   


2. The CD plays for a while then shuts off.
   Common solution: Rebuild the control board.
   


3. Remote doesn't work.
   Common solution: Rebuild or replace remote.
   


4. The radio won't turn on.
   Common solution: Rebuild power supply.
   


5. The radio has bad speakers.
   Common solution: Rebuild or replace speakers.
