What is the Bose warranty policy?
Bose provides only a Limited Warranty, which lasts between 1-5 years depending on the item purchased. The Limited warranty is free of charge and covers defective products and materials. However, it does not pertain to damages caused by the consumer. For repairs that are within the warranty period go to the Bose Service Center at Bose.com.
How long does a Bose radio repair take?
A common repair takes about a week but can take up to 2 to 3 weeks depending on the issue.
How much does a typical Bose radio repair cost?
A common model repair is $150 plus return shipping, but there are exceptions on some models. If your radio is a top-loader and requires a new laser, there will be an additional $58 charge. Replacement remotes are $20. For the Acoustic Wave Series (the tall ones), the repair is $250.
How do I clean my Bose Wave CD player?
For Bose CD top loaders you can use a Q-tip with alcohol and gently touch the lens in circles and let it dry. Unfortunately for the Bose CD front loaders, you can't access the lens.
Is there a check out charge?
The diagnosis is $40 plus return shipping. The $40 will be part of of the repair if we proceed with the repair.
Can Bose radios be repaired?
Yes! But the repairs required are typically more complex than other radios due to the type of parts that need replacing. So it's advised that you use a service that specializes in Bose radio repairs.

What parts should I send with the radio?
We advise to send the remote but the power cord is not necessary.
Why is the top-loader laser so expensive?
There are very few manufacturers for old parts. Therefore, unfortunately they set the price.
